Senior NPI Program Manager

Role Summary

Lead manufacturing support for Data Center AI accelerator boards, coordinating cross-functional teams to transition new designs into mass production and manage customer qualifications.

Collaborate with Operations Program Managers, Platform Design Engineering, Diagnostics, supply chain, and factory partners to minimize production risk and ensure production readiness and ramp.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 8+ years of program management or production experience in the server or data-center industry.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end NPI execution and factory ramp to meet program objectives.

  • Plan, coordinate, and track manufacturing progress against program goals.
  • Coordinate firmware and test diagnostics upgrades with Engineering and Diagnostics teams.
  • Manage customer qualifications for significant product changes with customer PMs and engineering.
  • Develop and implement NPI handover strategies for ramp into mass production.
  • Align factory network and collaborators on production execution strategy and engineering progress.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, materials, and resources to minimize production risks and resolve daily issues.
  • Drive process improvements, own technology issue resolution, and develop risk mitigation with Platform Design Engineering.
  • Coordinate supply chain and manufacturing plan of record for revenue products.
  • Maintain project budgets and track procurement and delivery of bring-up hardware.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 8+ years in program management or production roles within the server or data-center domain.
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
  • Experience in technical program, project, or product management for server or cloud hardware.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving and rapid issue-resolution ability.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Technical depth in hardware and software development techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of factory production techniques and test strategies.
  • Direct experience delivering complex products to cloud-based customers.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent practical experience. PMP certification listed as a plus. No other degree or field-of-study requirement specified.
