Job Title

Senior Networking Electrical Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Join the NVIDIA Networking HW Quality team in Yokneam to lead system-level electrical characterization and validation for networking platforms. The role focuses on lab-based post-silicon validation, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration to identify and resolve electrical issues.

The engineer will work with PHY design, system architecture, validation, reliability, and signal-integrity teams to define and execute validation strategies that ensure product electrical quality.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typically requires 5+ years of experience in electrical validation or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning, executing, automating, and documenting electrical validation activities for new products.

  • Create and implement electrical validation plans for new products and platforms.
  • Perform lab measurements and analyze validation results to identify electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and system teams to define required validation and resolve electrical problems.
  • Develop test scripts and frameworks to automate validation procedures.
  • Work with software and firmware teams to integrate test and validation flows.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, procedures, and results.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional capabilities.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in electrical validation.
  • Ability to analyze analog circuits and diagnose analog issues.
  • Familiarity with I/O protocols, electrical compliance, and validation practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl, Shell) for test automation and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-have: hands-on post-silicon experience with PHY/SI validation, lab instrumentation (oscilloscope, TDR, BERT), and reliability or system-level validation workflows.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
