Senior Network Product Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Networking Product Engineering team to support high-volume production of NVIDIA network products. The role acts as the technical liaison between design engineering and contract manufacturers to improve yield, resolve hardware failures, and stabilize manufacturing processes.
Experience Level
Senior level. Typically requires 5+ years of relevant product engineering, board design, or backend manufacturing experience in Server, Networking, or Consumer Electronics with high-volume production exposure.
Responsibilities
Accountable for product engineering execution and on-site manufacturing support for network hardware during mass production.
- Lead product yield management and continuous yield-improvement activities across manufacturing sites.
- Manage build execution, product change control, and production process stabilization.
- Perform hands-on hardware debugging and failure analysis at the factory level; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Hardware Design, Validation, Software, and Silicon teams to characterize issues and optimize manufacturing test processes.
- Provide on-site engineering support in Vietnam and travel frequently to other global contract-manufacturer sites for process execution and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and behavioral competencies.
- 5+ years' experience in Product Engineering, Board Design, or Backend Manufacturing supporting high-volume production.
- Hands-on hardware engineering experience: board schematic/layout review, signal-integrity analysis, and use of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead failure resolution, root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with hardware, software, validation, and silicon teams.
- Fluent English and proficiency in Vietnamese and/or Mandarin/Chinese for cross-site communication.
- Willingness to travel extensively and be based in Vietnam to support local factory operations.
- Nice-to-have: project management skills, coding in Python/C/C++, familiarity with databases and production test-data analysis, and prior experience in Southeast Asian manufacturing sites.
Education Requirements
MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics - or equivalent practical experience.
