Senior Network Engineer, System Verification

Role Summary

Join the End-to-End (E2E) Verification team to validate Ethernet/InfiniBand NICs and switches used in large-scale cloud and storage environments. The role focuses on designing test topologies, implementing verification plans, and driving complex end-to-end customer use-case validation.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

The engineer will own verification activities across design, automation, and release execution for networking and storage products.

• Participate in design reviews and define product feature requirements for Ethernet/InfiniBand NICs and switches.
• Design and build test topologies that emulate customer large-scale or complex environments.
• Design tests and mentor/lead the test automation team to implement coverage for new features.
• Prepare and run POC activities to validate new capabilities and topologies.
• Execute end-to-end test scenarios: regression, performance, functional, and scale testing.
• Generate comprehensive test reports, reproduce and debug complex customer cases, and determine root cause.
• Serve as engineering point-of-contact for full verification cycles and coordinate fixes with R&D.
• Report test progress and provide concise summaries of verification activity.

Requirements

• Must-have: 8+ years of practical experience in networking/storage verification or related domain.
• Must-have: Significant hands-on experience with Linux-based platforms.
• Must-have: Experience with L2 and L3 network protocols and troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Must-have: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent execution skills.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with virtualization platforms (KVM, Hyper-V, VMware), OpenStack, or Kubernetes.
• Nice-to-have: Background with NAS and/or SAN storage systems.
• Nice-to-have: Scripting experience (Bash, Python) for test automation.

Education Requirements

B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience as an IT/Network Engineer (the posting explicitly allows equivalent experience).
