Senior MTS - IP Engineering
Role Summary
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff in IP Engineering, you will lead development and delivery of high-performance processor and compute IP solutions. The role provides technical leadership across architecture, design, verification and implementation while working with global cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers to ensure successful delivery of complex IP programs.
Experience Level
Senior - minimum 10 years of experience in digital IC/IP development, design, verification, implementation, or technical project leadership.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead development and delivery of advanced processor and compute IP solutions; ensure design quality and signoff readiness.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, verification, implementation and product delivery.
- Define and review technical strategies, development plans, specifications, methodologies and quality processes.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, customers and stakeholders on technology roadmaps and product development.
- Mentor and coach engineers; build engineering capability and promote best practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Minimum 10 years in digital IC/IP development, design, verification, implementation, or technical project leadership.
- Strong understanding of processor, memory and system architectures.
- Expertise in digital design and verification methodologies, including RTL development, simulation, formal verification and signoff processes.
- Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog and modern EDA tool flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage technical complexity and risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a global engineering environment.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence engineering teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience leading large-scale or multi-site engineering projects and teams.
- Expertise in processor microarchitecture, SoC/IP integration, or functional/formal verification.
- Programming/scripting experience with Python, C/C++.
- Experience driving methodology improvements and automation.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
