Senior Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Verify and model mixed-signal power ICs (PMICs, battery chargers) and collaborate with design, verification, systems teams, and customers to deliver verified components for system integration.
Experience Level
Senior — 5–10+ years of experience in mixed-signal verification, digital verification, modeling, power management, or related semiconductor development.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform chip-level verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits using advanced simulation tools and methodologies.
- Create and maintain analog/mixed-signal models using SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, or equivalent languages.
- Develop comprehensive verification and modeling plans and document verification results.
- Debug failing test cases and models; diagnose and resolve simulation slowdowns and circuit issues.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and systems teams to ensure proper integration of analog and digital blocks.
- Communicate technical status and results to internal teams and external customers.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Proven experience in mixed-signal verification or digital verification and modeling for power ICs.
- Proficiency with SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS or similar modeling languages.
- Strong skills with simulation tools and verification methodologies.
- Experience debugging complex mixed-signal simulations and models.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work with external customers.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with switching converters and power-management ICs.
- Familiarity with PMICs, battery charger architectures, or system-level power management.
Education Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
