Job Title

Senior Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Verify mixed‑signal CMOS circuit designs and implementations for NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs, focusing on high‑speed SerDes and related analog/mixed‑signal blocks. Work on a global circuit verification team using advanced verification methodologies to ensure design correctness across product lines.

This role interacts with circuit and logic design, verification, and test engineering to develop verification infrastructure and deliver validated designs used in graphics, AI and autonomous systems.

Experience Level

Senior — requires 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing mixed‑signal verification and building the necessary infrastructure and testbenches.

  • Verify mixed‑signal CMOS circuit designs, architectures and golden models for GPU/SoC components.
  • Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure and testbenches for component and top‑level verification.
  • Apply advanced verification methodologies to ensure correctness of analog and mixed‑signal blocks.
  • Use circuit simulation and verification tools to validate designs and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with circuit, logic, verification and test engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Debug failures, perform root‑cause analysis and document verification status.

Requirements

Must-have skills and relevant experience:

  • Experience with deep sub‑micron CMOS analog / mixed‑signal circuit design and verification.
  • Familiarity with Cadence IC design environment and analog simulators such as HSpice, Finesim, XA.
  • Proven experience building testbench environments for component and top‑level circuit verification.
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog or a similar hardware verification language; strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on cross‑functional teams.
  • Nice-to-have: Perl and C/C++ programming experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree (master's or higher) is acceptable and may be considered equivalent to additional experience. The posting explicitly allows degree-or-equivalent experience alternatives.
