Design and optimize DRAM memory arrays, peripheral logic, and analog circuits to support new product development. Lead schematic, layout and verification efforts and collaborate with CAD/EDA/software teams to integrate AI-driven and semicustom flows into simulation and sign‑off environments.

Experience Level

Senior - typically 4–8 years of memory design experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include circuit design, layout oversight, verification, and integrating automation into design flows.

  • Develop and optimize DRAM memory array, peripheral logic, and analog circuit schematics.
  • Leverage AI-based tools and automation to accelerate schematic optimization and design-space exploration.
  • Perform parasitic analysis, sensitivity studies, and corner coverage.
  • Manage layout activities including floor-planning, placement and routing.
  • Execute circuit-level verification: functional, timing, power, and reliability analysis using SPICE-based and Micron-specific tools.
  • Collaborate with CAD, EDA and software teams to integrate AI-driven flows into simulation, verification and design sign-off.
  • Contribute to cross-group standardization and development of semicustom memory design methodology.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Strong fundamentals in CMOS circuit design, device physics, and memory operation.
  • Experience with SPICE-based simulation and parasitic extraction.
  • Practical experience in circuit-level verification for timing, power, and reliability.
  • Experience overseeing layout or working with semicustom/ASIC layout teams.
  • Ability to work with CAD/EDA tools and integrate automation into design flows.

Nice-to-have

  • DRAM domain knowledge (DDR5, LPDDR5, HBM) or other memory design experience.
  • Experience in NAND memory design.
  • Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted design flows and agentic AI for EDA.
  • Experience with SoC/ASIC semicustom flow.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is specified. The posting also specifies 4–8 years of memory design experience.
