Job Title

Senior Memory Controller Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Work on verification of GPU memory-subsystem IP, partnering with design and architecture teams to develop and execute verification and performance test plans. Deliver functional correctness and performance sign-off for RTL, maintain regressions, and enable downstream FPGA and software validation.

Experience Level

Senior level β€” typically 6+ years of ASIC verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Design and implement verification infrastructure: testbenches, BFMs, checkers, monitors, and randomized tests.
  • Create, review, and execute verification and performance test plans for memory-subsystem IP.
  • Drive code and functional coverage closure for the RTL under verification.
  • Coordinate with FPGA and software teams to ensure software stacks are exercised and tested.
  • Participate in post-silicon validation and debug activities.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

  • Must-have: 6+ years of ASIC verification experience of complex design units; strong attention to detail and teamwork.
  • Must-have: Experience with verification and simulation tools (VCS or equivalent) and RTL debug tools.
  • Must-have: Proficient with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodologies.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior design or verification experience with dynamic memory controllers (DDR2/3/4/5, LPDDR variants, HBM, or GDDR).
  • Nice-to-have: Scripting experience (Python, Perl, shell) and strong debugging/problem-solving skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/MS) in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
