Senior Memory Circuit Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Lead verification efforts for full-chip memory circuit designs, including gate-level simulations, low-power and power-management features across DDR5/LPDDR5/DDR6/LPDDR6 architectures. Collaborate with global design and verification teams and own end-to-end verification and analysis for assigned areas.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification tasks, developing verification infrastructure, and supporting pre-silicon analysis and debugging.

• Set direction and lead verification efforts for assigned projects and features.
• Simulate, analyze, and debug pre-silicon full-chip designs, including gate-level simulations with delays.
• Develop test cases and stimulus to improve functional coverage for DRAM and emerging memory architectures.
• Develop and maintain testbenches, test vectors, and regression flows; perform coverage analysis and improvements.
• Participate in verification methodology and environment development for complex products.
• Collaborate with international teams to create and adopt new verification flows.
• Identify opportunities for AI-based automation in verification and work with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Must-have: Proficiency with SPICE and Verilog simulations.
• Must-have: Experience with gate-level simulations (with delays) and logic schematic analysis.
• Must-have: Analytical skills for complex CMOS and/or gate-level circuit designs.
• Must-have: Experience in timing analysis (setup/hold) and critical data-path timing analysis.
• Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Desired: Experience in DRAM, SRAM, or other memory-related fields.
• Desired: Python scripting for testbench, automation, or flow development.
• Desired: Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve verification productivity, with emphasis on correctness, validation, and responsible use of enterprise-approved AI systems.

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
