Job Title
Senior Memory Circuit Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification for memory circuit designs and full‑chip pre‑silicon validation, focusing on DRAM and emerging memory architectures (DDR5/LPDDR5/DDR6/LPDDR6). Work with global design and verification teams to develop verification methodology, create testbenches and regressions, and ensure timely delivery of functionally correct designs.
Experience Level
Senior-level; typically 4–8 years of verification or memory circuit experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of verification, simulation and debug, coverage improvement, and cross‑team collaboration.
- Lead and set direction for verification efforts within assigned projects.
- Simulate, analyze, and debug pre‑silicon full‑chip and gate‑level designs, including delay-aware simulations.
- Develop test cases and stimulus to improve functional coverage for DRAM and emerging memory architectures.
- Create and maintain test benches, test vectors, and regression flows for coverage analysis and improvements.
- Contribute to verification methodology and environment development (UVM/SystemVerilog).
- Collaborate with international colleagues to develop new verification flows and resolve verification challenges.
- Identify verification pain points suitable for AI-based automation and work with cross‑functional teams to deploy scalable solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog; experience with UVM testbenches and PLI coding.
- Experience with gate‑level simulations (with delays) and logic schematic analysis.
- Timing analysis experience (setup/hold and critical data path timing analysis).
- Experience with DRAM, SRAM, or other memory technologies and related features.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for complex CMOS and gate‑level circuits.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve verification productivity, with emphasis on correctness and responsible use.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with advanced low‑power and power management verification across high-speed memory interfaces.
- Experience with full‑chip gate‑level custom designs and multi-category memory features.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field required; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
