Senior Member Technical Staff
Role Summary
Member of the Aprisa team within Siemens EDA responsible for design and development of RTL-to-GDSII synthesis features. Primary focus is C++ implementation of RTL synthesis technology, logic optimizations and low-power synthesis for complex digital IC designs.
Work in a hybrid Bangalore location, collaborate with domain experts, and take ownership of components from design through delivery. Role includes guiding others and driving technical solutions.
Experience Level
Senior. The posting specifies 1–5 years of software development experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and implement RTL synthesis algorithms and features in C++.
- Develop logic optimizations, gate-level transforms and low-power synthesis flows.
- Own and deliver RTL design IP components end-to-end.
- Guide and mentor teammates; lead technical design decisions to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate solutions.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 1–5 years of software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ skills and solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Good problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Demonstrated ability to guide or lead others toward project completion.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with RTL synthesis tool development, RTL & gate-level logic optimizations.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL, UPF, DFT, formal verification, or dynamic power analysis.
- Experience with parallel algorithms, job distribution, and scripting (Python, Tcl).
Education Requirements
B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a reputed engineering college.
