Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Role Summary
Senior engineer on the Global Operation and Technology team supporting semiconductor process integration and device engineering. The role focuses on electrical data analysis, product yield improvement, excursion prevention and resolution, and technology qualification for mixed-signal and BCD technologies.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 3β7 years of semiconductor industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Analyze electrical test data to identify yield and performance issues.
- Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent excursions.
- Drive product yield improvement projects and monitor process metrics.
- Support technology and product qualification activities.
- Collaborate with process, device, and test engineering teams on process integration.
- Design and execute device characterization experiments and analyze results.
- Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes:
- Understanding of device performance and process-integration interactions.
- Knowledge of integrated-circuit functionality and device characterization methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and effective teamwork.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with mixed-signal and BCD process development.
- Prior semiconductor process integration or device engineering experience.
Education Requirements
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. The role expects approximately 3β7 years of semiconductor industry experience.
