Senior Manager, Test Engineering, Product Development
Role Summary
Lead and grow a global test engineering team responsible for new product development, validation, test development and manufacturing readiness for ADI's high-voltage and protection product portfolio.
This role provides technical and people leadership across the product lifecycle, partnering with Design, Product, Reliability and Operations to deliver production-ready, high-quality solutions.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 10+ years of product development experience and proven leadership managing engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Build, recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing test engineering team.
- Define and execute validation, characterization, qualification and production test strategies.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Reliability and Operations to achieve manufacturing readiness.
- Lead resolution of complex technical, product and manufacturing challenges using data-driven analysis.
- Manage project priorities, resources and schedules to meet development milestones.
- Support global manufacturing to improve yield, quality, reliability and time-to-market.
- Champion engineering best practices, automation and reusable test solutions to increase efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:

Must-have: At least 10 years of product development experience with demonstrated leadership and team-building experience.

Must-have: Extensive experience in product validation, test development, product engineering and manufacturing readiness.

Must-have: Proven ability to drive cross-functional execution across global teams and resolve complex technical issues.

Must-have: Strong data-driven problem solving and project management skills; experience supporting manufacturing operations.

Must-have: Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice-to-have: Experience with high-voltage, power or protection semiconductor products and related test solutions.

Nice-to-have: Experience implementing automation, scalable test architectures, or test program management for volume production.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) or a relevant technical discipline was requested in the source posting.
