Senior Manager - Memory Technology
Role Summary
Lead the Memory Technology team responsible for Nordic's memory IP portfolio, delivering embedded memory solutions from concept through production. The role combines hands-on technical leadership, project ownership and people management across a hybrid on-site/remote team and requires close collaboration with R&D and external technology partners.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical strategy, team leadership and delivery of memory IP that integrates with Nordic's SoC designs.
- Lead, coach and develop a distributed engineering team and ensure skills and capacity match product strategy.
- Define and own the technical strategy and development roadmap for the memory IP portfolio.
- Collect and consolidate requirements from R&D and translate them into development plans and delivery schedules.
- Drive projects from initiation through tape-out, prototype approval and transfer to production.
- Provide technical approval at major milestones (project approval, tape-out, prototype approval, production transfer).
- Ensure memory IP deliverables integrate with Nordic's SoC design flows and meet customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with R&D and external technology partners.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership qualifications; preferred items noted.
- Substantial experience in semiconductor memory development and embedded memory technologies with a track record of delivering memory IP to production silicon.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, including distributed or hybrid teams.
- Deep knowledge of memory architecture, circuit design and device physics, including bitcell arrays, sense amplifiers, timing/self-timed paths, low-voltage operation, retention and power modes, redundancy/repair, ECC and memory BIST.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills; able to move between detailed technical discussion and executive-level summaries.
- Delivery-focused with the discipline to manage multiple parallel commitments to completion.
- Preferred: formal line-management experience and prior commercial responsibility for technology deliverables.
Education Requirements
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering or a comparable field.
