Role Summary
Lead the imaging software roadmap for NVIDIA's Jetson platform, coordinating teams building camera drivers, image-processing algorithms, streaming frameworks, and developer tools. Deliver synchronized, low-latency, model-ready sensor data for robotics and edge AI products.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts to deliver imaging capabilities into Jetson releases.
- Define and deliver imaging software roadmap across drivers, algorithms, frameworks, and developer tools.
- Manage and mentor engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
- Translate customer and ecosystem needs into prioritized capabilities and measurable outcomes.
- Align software, research, hardware, partner, and QA teams to ship features on schedule.
- Support the team's transition to agentic development workflows to improve velocity, quality, and performance.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, leadership experience, and domain knowledge.
- 10+ years relevant software engineering experience; 5+ years leading software teams.
- Experience developing embedded Linux software for SoCs, including device drivers, platform bring-up, and on-target debugging.
- Strong systems programming skills in C, C++, or Rust; ability to guide architecture, performance optimization, and system-level debugging.
- Proven ability to translate market requirements into roadmaps and align matrixed teams to deliver results.
- Hands-on experience with modern agentic tools, skills, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with embedded camera interfaces and image tuning (MIPI CSI, GMSL, Camera over Ethernet, V4L2, ISP).
- Experience taking edge AI or robotics systems from concept to production.
- Familiarity with functional-safety practices (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
- Understanding of input requirements for large vision models and related perception pipelines.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
