Senior Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer

Role Summary

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms that analyze on‑chip monitoring data to improve chip reliability, performance, and diagnostics. Work on models for lifetime prediction, clustering, parametric screening, and time‑series forecasting.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to drive solutions from research and POC to validated production deployments in a hybrid Tel‑Aviv role.

Experience Level

Senior - typically 5+ years of algorithm development experience in data‑intensive or complex environments.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the full algorithm lifecycle and for integrating ML solutions with product and engineering teams.

• Develop advanced ML algorithms using data from on‑chip monitoring agents (examples: lifetime prediction, clustering, parametric modeling, time‑series forecasting).
• Lead end‑to‑end algorithm lifecycle: ideation, research, proof‑of‑concept, design, implementation, validation, deployment, and debugging.
• Implement testing and validation practices, including unit/E2E testing, performance and memory profiling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to refine and support deployed solutions.
• Drive integration of AI‑assisted tools and intelligent pipelines into ML workflows and operational processes.

• Must‑have: 5+ years of algorithm development experience in complex, data‑intensive environments.
• Must‑have: Deep expertise in Python and common statistical and machine learning libraries.
• Must‑have: Proven experience across research, implementation, testing, deployment, and debugging of ML algorithms.
• Must‑have: Familiarity with testing frameworks and performance/memory profiling.
• Must‑have: Practical experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer).
• Nice‑to‑have: Experience with HW/SW integration or ATE/chip testing.
• Nice‑to‑have: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, containerization (Kubernetes) and cloud APIs.
• Nice‑to‑have: Familiarity with distributed compute frameworks (e.g., Spark, MLRun) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Nice‑to‑have: Experience with AI platforms/agents for model training, data annotation, monitoring, or autonomous debugging.
• Nice‑to‑have: Familiarity with chip production or design methodologies.

Education Requirements

Required: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Preferred: M.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
