Senior Lead Verification Engineer, Digital IP
Role Summary
Member of the MCU/MPU central design organization responsible for digital IP used across Automotive, IoT, Networking and RF products. The Digital IP team delivers IP and IP subsystems for cost-sensitive, low-power and high-performance SoCs that must meet automotive and industrial safety and security standards.

Senior - typically requires 7+ years of IP or subsystem verification experience.
Responsibilities
Work on pre-silicon verification for IP modules and IP subsystems and deliver verification environments, plans and regression results.
- Define and write IP verification plans from requirements, standards and IP implementation specs.
- Architect, develop, debug and run UVM-based verification environments for RTL simulation.
- Create testcases, stimulus and assertions; run regressions and analyze functional and code coverage.
- Verify designs across RTL, power-aware RTL, gate-level, FPGA and emulation platforms.
- Interface with hardware, firmware, software, architecture and system engineering teams to validate functionality and use cases.
- Execute verification plans and report metrics and coverage to product architects.
- Debug design issues pre- and post-silicon and support bring-up on bench and emulation platforms.
Requirements

- Must-have: 7+ years of IP/subsystem verification experience.
- Must-have: Proven experience designing and developing testbenches using UVM for IP/subsystem and SoC verification.
- Must-have: Advanced knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog; proficiency with C/C++ and shell scripting.
- Must-have: Strong understanding of metric-driven verification, functional and code coverage; directed and constrained-random methodologies.
- Must-have: Experience debugging designs in simulation and on hardware/bench setups.
- Must-have: Familiarity with formal verification methods and assertions.
- Must-have: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl or Python.
Education Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (e.g., Bachelor's) is required.
