Senior Lead Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Radeon Technologies Group front-end design and integration team to develop verification environments that ensure first-pass silicon success for graphics, client, server and semi-custom interconnects.

The role works closely with architecture, IP design, physical design and product engineering teams to define and execute verification plans for complex IP, subsystem and SoC designs.

Experience Level

Senior-level. 12+ years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include planning, developing, and executing verification strategies and mentoring junior engineers.

• Design and enhance SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches for IP, subsystem and SoC verification.
• Create and execute verification test plans and metrics to validate new features and regressions.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, performance and post-silicon validation engineers to validate Infinity Fabric and related interconnects.
• Develop and maintain testbench verification components and verification infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior verification engineers; support code and environment reviews.

Requirements

Must-have skills and preferred additional qualifications.

• Must-have: Proven experience verifying complex IP, subsystem or SoC blocks using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Must-have: Experience architecting and developing verification environments and infrastructure.
• Must-have: Proficiency in scripting and automation (Perl, Ruby, Make or similar) for verification flows.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to RTL design, software development, formal verification, or post-silicon validation.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience with UVM testbench development for complex designs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
