Senior Lead Engineer - DFT
Role Summary
Senior-level DFT engineer on the ASICS Engineering team responsible for defining and delivering design-for-test strategies for ASIC projects. Work involves planning, implementing and validating testability features, collaborating with RTL/design/verification teams and driving automation for test generation and debug.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities expected for this role include:
- Develop and deploy DFT methodologies and test strategies for ASIC designs.
- Create and validate Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) flows and automation scripts.
- Collaborate with RTL, verification, layout and bring-up teams to ensure testability and yield targets.
- Lead debugging and fault diagnosis during pre-silicon verification and post-silicon bring-up.
- Mentor engineers, drive process improvements and contribute to cross-functional design reviews.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical qualifications (concise):
- Must-have: Proven experience in DFT and ATPG, and delivering test solutions for ASIC projects.
- Must-have: Experience with automation of test flows and verification/validation processes.
- Must-have: Strong debugging, fault analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with analog design flows, architecture and algorithm awareness related to SoC design.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with tools used in IC design and test automation (examples: Cadence tools and custom automation frameworks).
Education Requirements
Minimum Qualifications as listed: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field plus 2+ years of hardware engineering or related experience; OR Master's degree in those fields plus 1+ year of related experience; OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
