Senior IP Verification Engineer (IOMMU-N)
Role Summary
Verify IOMMU IP by producing verification plans, building UVM-based testbenches, developing constrained-random stimulus, and driving coverage closure. The role is part of the IP verification team focused on CPU/memory subsystem and bus-interface verification.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 3+ years of design verification experience, preferably in CPU/IP verification.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Analyze architectural specifications and create verification strategies and detailed test plans.
- Design and implement scalable, reusable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and sequences.
- Create constrained-random and directed tests to exercise corner cases and protocol scenarios.
- Debug RTL and testbench failures; perform root-cause analysis using waveform tools.
- Define, track, and close functional and code coverage; write covergroups and coverpoints.
- Integrate and validate third-party VIPs and bus interfaces.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 3+ years in design verification (DV) with strong SystemVerilog and UVM skills.
- Strong object-oriented programming ability and scripting experience (Python preferred).
- Experience writing test plans and tests for CPU architectures (x86, ARM, or RISC-V).
- Bus/protocol experience (AXI, AHB, PCIe) and VIP integration experience.
- Experience defining and closing functional and code coverage; writing covergroups.
- Experience debugging using waveform viewers and performing RTL root-cause analysis.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Verilog, C/C++, Perl.
- Experience with OVM/VMM and debug tools such as Verdi or SimVision.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., BE/BTech/MS in an engineering discipline) as stated in the posting.
