Role Summary

Work within the ACE Digital IP team to lead execution and delivery of complex IP and subsystem development for multiple product lines (Automotive, IoT, Networking, RF). Coordinate architects, designers, verification, software, and integration teams to meet milestones and release commitments.

Experience Level

Senior — requires 7+ years of industry-related experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end execution of IP and subsystem projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Own project schedule, milestones, phases, dependencies, and quality targets from architecture through release.
• Coordinate execution across architecture, design, verification, validation, software, and SoC integration teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues that threaten execution, quality, or release commitments.
• Lead technical reviews and execution checkpoints with clear status, actions, and follow-through.
• Drive alignment on specifications, interfaces, release content, and handoff requirements.
• Resolve interface issues, integration dependencies, and execution trade-offs with stakeholders.
• Support release readiness and signoff reviews by driving issues to closure.
• Improve execution visibility via data collection, milestone tracking, risk registers, and engineering metrics.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership skills; nice-to-have items listed separately.

• Must-have: Proven IP development process knowledge and project execution leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience owning plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, and tracking to completion.
• Strong planning skills and hands-on use of Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and Excel for scheduling, tracking, and risk management.
• Good understanding of semiconductor development lifecycle, design and verification methods, and integration dependencies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills; ability to work effectively with global teams.
• Nice-to-have: Protocol experience (AHB/AMBA) and memory technologies/controllers (ROM, RAM, Flash, LPDDR/DDR3/4).
• Experience with RTL design flow, timing analysis, DFT, implementation, chip assembly, IP integration, RTL signoff tools, and CDC/RDC/Lint/Synthesis.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred. The posting specifies 7+ years of industry-related experience.
