Job Title

Senior IP Design Verification Engineer - XBAR IP

Role Summary

Senior verification engineer responsible for verifying the design and implementation of memory sub-systems and IP used in NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. The role focuses on architecting verification plans, building verification infrastructure, and driving coverage closure.

Works on a global engineering team and collaborates with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams to ensure correctness of complex IP and subsystem designs.

Experience Level

Senior β€” 4+ years of relevant verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing functional verification for memory subsystem IP and related units.

  • Define verification scope and develop verification plans and test strategies for complex IP/sub-systems.
  • Develop verification infrastructure, testbenches, and automated test flows.
  • Create reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement directed and constrained-random tests and close functional coverage-driven goals.
  • Use assertion-based verification to detect and diagnose functional issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to debug and resolve issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role.

  • Experience verifying complex IPs, units, or sub-systems using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog.
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages and methodologies (UVM or VMM).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with memory subsystem or network interconnect IP verification.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills and scripting experience for automation and debug.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

B.Tech. / M.Tech. (or equivalent practical experience) is stated; equivalent industry experience is acceptable.
