Works on a global engineering team and collaborates with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams. Hybrid role based in Bengaluru, India.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 4+ years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification for memory subsystem IP and related units.
- Define verification scope and develop detailed test plans for complex IP/sub-systems.
- Design and implement verification infrastructure, including reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
- Create directed and constrained-random tests and drive functional coverage-driven closure.
- Apply assertion-based verification methodologies and perform thorough debugging of functional failures.
- Work with architects, RTL designers, and silicon validation teams to resolve issues and close verification gaps.
- Use advanced verification methodologies such as SystemVerilog/UVM and maintain verification artifacts for reuse.
Requirements
Core technical skills and experience required; nice-to-have items listed separately.
Must-have
- 4+ years of relevant experience in IP or subsystem verification.
- Experience verifying complex IPs/units and subsystems using constrained-random stimulus and functional coverage.
- Expertise in Verilog and familiarity with SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages.
- Familiarity with assertion-based verification methodologies.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in memory subsystem or network interconnect IP verification.
- Debugging and strong analytical skills, with scripting experience for automation and debug.
- Experience with UVM/VMM or other coverage-driven verification environments.
Education Requirements
B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent practical experience (engineering degree or equivalent experience). No specific field explicitly required beyond engineering; equivalent industry experience is accepted.
