Senior Interconnect Product Data Engineer

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Networking business as a Product Engineer focused on Interconnect Cluster Performance. You will analyze large datasets, lead failure analyses, and work with global cross-functional teams to improve product performance and reliability.

Work centers on high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnect products; the role drives product excellence through data-driven investigations and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform large-scale data analysis and root-cause failure investigations to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with Process, Mechanical, Hardware, and Thermal teams to improve product performance.
• Lead high-impact task forces and cross-functional working groups.
• Design and improve product test plans to increase customer satisfaction.
• Manage failure analysis for field and lab issues.
• Coordinate with Customer Support, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Reliability teams.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong background in statistics and big-data analysis tools (JMP, Python, Power BI, SQL).
• Solid understanding of electronic circuits.
• Strong software and scripting skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and functions.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with optical networking technologies.
• Physical Layer (PHY / Layer 1) networking verification experience.
• Proficiency in AI-driven data analysis and decision support.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
