Senior HW Digital Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
The Senior HW Digital Design Verification Engineer defines and implements verification strategies for complex digital ASIC/SoC blocks. The role partners with design, architecture and software teams to validate functionality and drive verification completeness.

Senior - typically requires 5+ years of experience in digital design verification of complex ASICs/SoCs.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, building and executing verification environments and driving coverage to closure.
- Develop and execute verification plans and testbench architectures for complex digital blocks and sub-systems.
- Implement UVM-based environments and directed, constrained-random, and assertion-based tests.
- Perform functional and code coverage analysis and close coverage gaps.
- Debug design and verification issues; coordinate root-cause analysis and fixes with design engineers.
- Integrate verification flows using industry EDA tools and automation scripts.
- Collaborate with architecture, design and software teams to validate specifications and requirements.
- Contribute to verification methodology, flows and toolchain improvements.
- Mentor and review work from junior verification engineers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in digital design verification of complex ASICs/SoCs.
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM (or similar verification methodologies).
- Experience developing verification environments and test plans from scratch.
- Familiarity with EDA verification tools (simulators, waveform viewers, coverage analysis tools).
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and testbench integration.
- Solid understanding of digital design principles, computer architecture and common interfaces/protocols.
- Strong debugging, analytical and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with formal verification techniques.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
