Senior HBM Product and System Engineer, Heterogeneous Integration
Role Summary
Join the HIG HBM Media Health HVM team to develop, validate, characterize, and qualify next-generation HBM products for high-volume manufacturing. The role focuses on product quality, cost, cycle time, and scalable production while working across design, fab, test, and quality teams.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry; Micron and product engineering experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Deliver and support HBM product development, validation, and high-volume manufacturing through technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and project execution.
- Define and ensure optimized test coverage for current and future HIG HBM architectures and process nodes in HVM.
- Develop, validate, characterize, and qualify next-generation HBM products for reliability and market readiness.
- Support new product design validation, including circuit analysis using CAD tools and Verilog simulations.
- Drive yield improvement and test-time reduction; investigate and resolve yield-related issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolution for qualification and RMA device issues.
- Recommend process conversions to fab teams to reduce cost and increase yields.
- Make technical risk analyses and prioritize projects impacting product direction.
- Mentor and develop team members; build project management capability to deliver solutions on schedule.
- Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, Test Program Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to ship products.

Nice-to-have:
- Programming experience (Python preferred).
- Knowledge of logic gate and transistor operation; circuit simulation or circuit debug experience.
- Familiarity with DRAM operation and semiconductor process technology.
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude code) and other AI-assisted engineering tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. The role expects 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience; Micron and product-engineering experience are preferred.
