Senior Hardware Network Engineer
Role Summary
Member of the Networking Application Engineering team responsible for hardware performance, qualification tooling, and design-in with ODM/OEM partners. The role drives qualification plans, accelerates hardware issue resolution, and ensures platform readiness for data center and high-performance computing deployments.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include leading qualification tooling, coordinating with partners and internal R&D, and validating new platforms.
- Own and improve hardware performance and qualification tooling, including automation and test coverage.
- Drive design-in and integration with ODM and OEM partners to ensure platform compatibility and performance.
- Define and execute qualification plans validating performance, stability, and compliance across system configurations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, escalate, and resolve hardware issues to reduce time-to-resolution.
- Maintain technical relationships with ODM/OEM engineering teams and serve as the hardware performance expert.
- Provide actionable feedback to engineering and product teams based on qualification findings.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.
- 5+ years of hardware development experience, including work with high-speed multilayer PCBs.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a track record of driving issues to closure.
- Strong English communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging directly with ODM/OEM technical counterparts.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of server topology, PCIe protocols, BMC interfaces, and hardware security considerations.
- Experience with physical layer of network and PCIe ports, including SerDes tuning and high-speed signal integrity work.
- Experience working directly with ODMs/OEMs through design-in and qualification cycles.
- Experience using lab equipment for signal integrity and hardware validation.
- Experience in scripting or firmware development to improve test automation.
Education Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field - or equivalent practical experience.
