Provide hardware technical expertise to customers for products built on Qualcomm chips through trainings, product demonstrations, design/debug/test/quality support, and technical documentation. Work with cross-functional teams to assess product applicability and resolve hardware issues.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include supporting customers and internal teams on hardware product integration, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

• Provide technical trainings and product demonstrations for hardware products.
• Design, debug, test, and provide quality support for customer products based on Qualcomm chips.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to assess product applicability and prepare product specifications.
• Troubleshoot hardware tools and platform issues; guide customers on tool and platform usage.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Author detailed technical documentation for hardware application projects.

Requirements

• Experience in hardware applications engineering or hardware design, or equivalent practical experience working with hardware platforms.
• Hands-on experience with hardware debug, test, and quality verification processes.
• Customer-facing experience: ability to deliver trainings, demonstrations, and timely technical support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing clear technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to influence cross-functional decisions.
• Preferred: several years of relevant hardware applications or design experience (posting cites 3+ years as preferred).

Education Requirements

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (with 2+ years of relevant experience); OR Master's degree in the same fields (with 1+ year of relevant experience); OR PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. The posting also allows equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
