Role Summary
Senior engineer responsible for FPGA soft-IP RTL development for wireless and high-speed protocol solutions. The role covers architecture input, RTL design and verification, FPGA prototyping, and hardware validation within the FPGA IP System & Solution Engineering team.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include design, verification, and validation of FPGA IP cores and collaboration across teams.
- Design and implement RTL for wireless and high-speed protocol IP cores using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Contribute to high-level product specifications and micro-architecture decisions.
- Develop and execute RTL verification suites and use simulation tools for validation.
- Perform FPGA emulation/prototyping and hardware bring-up for IP validation.
- Work with system architects, verification engineers, and software teams to integrate and deliver IP.
- Address timing closure, clock-domain crossings, and FPGA constraint challenges.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and relevant experience; nice-to-have items noted.
- Strong RTL development skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Experience with FPGA, custom IC, or ASIC product development (architecture, design, validation).
- Familiarity with simulation and verification tools such as Synopsys VCS, Questa, ModelSim.
- Understanding of timing closure, CDC, and FPGA constraints.
- Scripting experience with Perl, TCL, Python or shell is a plus.
- Knowledge of high-speed serial interfaces (Ethernet, CPRI, eCPRI) and O-RAN architectures is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Analytical problem-solving mindset and professional integrity.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
