Responsibilities
The role focuses on designing and deploying formal verification methods and integrating them into CPU verification flows.
- Explore, develop and deploy formal verification techniques on CPU projects.
- Define and implement formal verification strategies and best practices.
- Work closely with formal experts and microarchitectural designers to identify verification targets and translate requirements into formal checks.
- Provide hands-on support to write properties, set up proofs, debug failures and iterate on abstractions.
- Influence design and verification decisions to improve overall quality and coverage.

- Strong engineering mindset with attention to detail and rigorous reasoning.
- Solid understanding of verification concepts, computer architecture and microarchitectural design.

- Experience with industry-standard formal tools and model checking techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl or Shell.
- Knowledge of the Arm architecture and AMBA protocols.
- Experience with assume-guarantee reasoning, invariants and abstraction techniques.
