Role Summary
As a Senior Firmware Engineer on the NVLink firmware team you will design, implement, and lead major firmware features for NVLink switch products used in data center and AI systems. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with architecture, hardware, and software teams and covers pre-silicon and post-silicon development and validation.

Senior-level. Typically requires 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with architecture and software design teams through the software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement new features in the core NVLink firmware.
- Develop and validate firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments for networking products.
- Perform system-level debugging and HW/FW/SW integration troubleshooting.
- Contribute to code quality via reviews, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in C; strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with embedded software and real-time programming.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective teammate with good communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of network protocols and networking stacks.
- Experience with Linux internals and Agile methodologies.
- Scripting experience (Bash) and strong C++/OOP skills.
Education Requirements
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
