Senior Firmware Engineer - GPU Verification

Role Summary

Join the InfiniBand Switch and NVLink firmware verification group to develop verification processes and features for next-generation NVIDIA networking products. The role focuses on firmware verification across pre- and post-silicon environments and collaboration with architecture and software teams.

The team delivers verification for networking features used in cloud, HPC, and storage systems; responsibilities include verification development, system debugging, and driving feature delivery.

Senior - 6+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include verification development, feature design, and coordination across teams:

  • Develop and maintain firmware verification processes using C++ and Python within an Agile workflow.
  • Design and implement new features in NVIDIA Switch and GPU firmware.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute team project activities and milestones.
  • Collaborate with architecture and software design teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work in pre-silicon and post-silicon development environments for next-generation networking products.
  • Perform system debugging and investigate HW/FW/SW interactions.
  • Align verification activities with quality standards and project timelines.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with embedded software development.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of network protocols.
  • Experience with CI tools and workflows (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
  • Background in Linux internals.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering - or equivalent practical experience.
