Role Summary
Join an Agile firmware team developing core firmware components for next-generation Mali GPU products. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining and improving embedded firmware, collaborating closely with hardware, software and architecture teams across Arm's design centres.

Responsibilities
The role covers the full firmware lifecycle and close hardware/software integration.
- Develop, maintain and improve existing firmware codebase and designs.
- Design, implement, debug and test firmware features for GPU-related components.
- Participate in task estimation, breakdown and documentation.
- Perform and receive design and code reviews.
- Work with hardware and software teams to integrate interfaces and components.
- Support hardware validation by writing firmware tests and debugging hardware behavior.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes, with additional desirable skills listed separately.
- Must-have: Proficient C programming and proven experience developing embedded applications.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; solid understanding of embedded systems and computer architecture.
- Good team working skills, self-motivation, organisation and result focus.
- Nice-to-have: Firmware development for MCU platforms, familiarity with RTOS on MCUs, version control and bug-tracking tools, knowledge of memory subsystem technology and Linux.
