Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's engineering team in Tel Aviv to design and own the NVLink firmware stack and GPU scale-up networking. The role works at the intersection of firmware, ASIC, and software architecture to deliver high-performance networking features for data-center GPUs and switches.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires 5+ years of practical firmware design or firmware architecture experience.

Responsibilities

Primary technical responsibilities include:

• Lead design of new networking applications and firmware features addressing complex data-center networking problems.
• Define the architecture of NVLink firmware running on GPUs and switches to meet performance and integration goals.
• Collaborate closely with ASIC and software architecture/design teams to ensure end-to-end system compatibility.
• Evaluate new technologies, innovations, and partner solutions to align with the strategic technology roadmap.
• Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of NVIDIA networking direction alongside adjacent hardware and software architects.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications.

• Must-have: 5+ years of practical experience in firmware design and/or firmware architecture.
• Must-have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must-have: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented engineering environment.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, cloud, or data-center technologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience programming computer networks or network stacks.
• Nice-to-have: Strong understanding of system design principles.

Education Requirements

B.Sc in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
