Provide technical field-application engineering for Broadcom Ethernet switching, NIC, retimer and physical layer (PHY) products to support customer designs from evaluation through mass production. The role focuses on customer hardware and application support, hardware debug, design reviews and driving design wins with Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are customer-facing technical support and product enablement for networking hardware.
- Provide system-level solution support, design review, PCB review and signal-integrity (SI) guidance for customer designs.
- Perform hands-on hardware debug, failure analysis and root-cause investigation.
- Support integration and bring-up of Ethernet switches, NICs, retimers and PHY components in customer systems.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure design wins and guide customer projects to mass production.
- Promote Broadcom network products within customer product lines and provide technical training as needed.
- Travel to customer sites as required and communicate technical status in English.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for success in this customer-facing engineering role.
- Proven hands-on experience with hardware debug, fault isolation and failure analysis.
- Experience with PCB layout review and signal-integrity analysis for high-speed SerDes/Ethernet designs.
- Familiarity with Ethernet switches, NICs, retimers and PHY devices or equivalent networking hardware.
- Strong customer-facing skills and ability to drive technical discussions and design reviews.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and internal engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer support and on-site debug.
- Proficient English communication skills for technical interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Nice-to-have: prior experience securing design wins and supporting product release to mass production.
