Senior FC Verification & Simulation Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary
Senior full-chip verification engineer on the Networking Silicon team responsible for system-level verification of next-generation NICs and for evolving the simulation and verification infrastructure to improve throughput and automation.
Work spans RTL testbenches, regression frameworks, tooling and cross-team coordination to ensure feature correctness and performance in data-center networking products.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 8+ years of experience in verification, hardware simulation, or infrastructure development for silicon projects.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include improving verification throughput, developing infrastructure, and performing system-level debug and analysis.
- Identify bottlenecks in verification flows and engineer solutions to accelerate simulation throughput (frameworks, tooling, regression optimization).
- Develop across the stack: RTL testbenches, infrastructure utilities, automation and supporting tools.
- Investigate, debug and resolve cross-block and system-level issues to guarantee feature correctness and compliance.
- Apply AI-assisted tools and modern coding practices to speed verification and infrastructure tasks.
- Collaborate with architecture, micro-architecture, firmware and other NIC teams to define and execute verification strategies.

- 8+ years experience in verification, hardware simulation, or infrastructure development for silicon projects.
- Proven infrastructure mindset: experience scaling regression frameworks, improving simulation performance, and automating flows.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills for system-level issues.
- Experience programming/scripting in multi-language environments (examples: SystemVerilog/UVM, Specman, Python, C/C++).
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work cross-functionally.
- Nice-to-have: experience leveraging AI tools for verification automation or infrastructure acceleration.
Education Requirements
Electrical Engineering B.Sc. or Computer Engineering B.Sc. graduate (high scores noted) or equivalent practical experience. Fields referenced: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering; equivalent experience accepted.
