Senior Failure Analysis Methodology Engineer
Role Summary
As a Senior Failure Analysis Methodology Engineer based in Hsinchu, you will coordinate failure analysis (FA) activities across internal teams, external FA houses and third-party labs. You will provide hands-on technical support for FA tools and lab operations, troubleshoot onsite, and drive methodology and process improvements to increase execution efficiency.
Experience Level
Senior β minimum 8 years' experience in the semiconductor industry, with substantial failure analysis exposure.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include coordinating FA work, providing technical support, and improving FA processes and readiness.
- Coordinate FA execution with FA houses, third-party labs and external partners, including aligning methodologies and following up on issues.
- Provide hands-on technical support for FA equipment, lab operations and onsite troubleshooting.
- Support internal silicon and system-level FA cases through technical mentorship and case coordination.
- Drive FA process optimization, improve execution efficiency, and ensure lab operation readiness.
- Interface with OSATs, customer quality teams and suppliers as required to resolve FA issues.
