Senior FAE - Embedded Solutions Engineer
Role Summary
Field application engineer responsible for driving design wins to revenue at assigned accounts by providing deep technical support for embedded analog, power, and signal-conditioning solutions. The role combines customer-facing engineering, reference-design development, and cross-functional coordination with product teams.
Primary activities include creating demos and proofs-of-concept, system bring-up and debugging, architectural reviews, and technical training for customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical engagement with customers to win designs and accelerate revenue.
- Provide in-depth engineering support: demos, proofs-of-concept, bring-up and debugging of customer systems.
- Advise on and implement analog sensor, signal-chain, and analog power-management solutions.
- Develop and lead reference-design projects to create new semiconductor business opportunities.
- Conduct architectural and board-level schematic reviews and provide design-in support and training.
- Use the client engagement process to drive design wins and communicate quantifiable feedback to product divisions.
- Deliver technical overviews, seminars, and workshops for customers and internal teams.
- Manage multiple customer engagements and contribute to global account strategies.
- Travel to customer sites (approximately 25%β50%).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, tools, and professional competencies.
- Power-management electronic design: LDOs, Boost, Buck, Buck-Boost, SEPIC, isolated converters; thermal management and characterization.
- Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC architectures, system fault protection, safety and compliance considerations.
- Analog sensor and signal-chain expertise; ADC/DAC, temperature sensing, timing/clock generation, power monitoring and metering.
- Closed-loop feedback and stability analysis; ability to use or customize simulation tools for loop analysis.
- Hands-on schematic entry and PCB design experience to support schematic review and layout recommendations.
- Familiarity with interface protocols: I2C, SPI, UART; experience supporting PMBus or similar communication protocols.
- Proficiency with laboratory test equipment for prototype and production support and debugging.
- Strong communication, influencing, networking, strategic thinking, and workflow-management skills.
- Ability to create customer-facing content and present technical material effectively.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%β50% and manage multiple engagements concurrently.
- Nice-to-have: prior semiconductor applications or sales experience; familiarity with embedded system tools and frameworks.
Education Requirements
