Senior Ethernet Product Manager - Infrastructure Processing Units (Remote)

Role Summary

Lead product strategy and roadmap for Intel's next-generation Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU) Ethernet portfolio within the Networking Solutions Group. Coordinate across architecture, engineering, sales, and partners to define requirements and drive silicon and system-level product development for data center networking.

Translate customer and market needs into product features, pricing, business cases, and go-to-market plans that drive adoption and competitive differentiation.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires extensive industry experience. Typical candidate: 10+ years in datacenter/server/Ethernet networking roles and 5+ years in product management or equivalent responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include strategy, product definition, customer engagement, and commercial enablement.

  • Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and technical requirements for IPU Ethernet solutions.
  • Translate customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights into differentiated product features and business opportunities.
  • Partner with architecture, engineering, sales, and marketing to guide product development and launches.
  • Serve as a technical thought leader with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders; influence product direction and technology adoption.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and revenue models to support product growth and market success.
  • Represent Intel with customers and senior stakeholders during technical and commercial engagements.

Requirements

Minimum professional qualifications and required experience (must-haves):

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in datacenters, servers, or Ethernet networking.
  • 10+ years working with networking protocols and data center system architectures.
  • 5+ years in product management, technical marketing, technical management, or related roles.
  • 5+ years developing product business value propositions.
  • Strategic thinking, customer focus, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, influencing skills, and executive presence.
  • Authorized to work in the country of the posting; this position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with Cloud, Telco, and Enterprise data center deployments focused on networking solutions.
  • Experience with ASIC/SoC development cycles and vendor management.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and supply chain operations for silicon products.

Education Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (listed in the posting). Preferred: MBA or advanced engineering degree. (No certifications or "equivalent experience" language was specified.)
