Senior Ethernet Product Manager

Role Summary

Senior Product Manager in Intel's Networking Solutions Group responsible for defining product strategy and driving development of Ethernet networking products for cloud, enterprise, and communications service providers.

The role partners with engineering, architecture, sales, and marketing to translate customer and market needs into product requirements, go-to-market plans, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include product strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership across the product lifecycle.

  • Define product requirements and guide future product investments with architecture and engineering teams.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements into clear product specifications and execution plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, cost models, and revenue forecasts to support decisions.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and ecosystem teams on product positioning and go-to-market execution.
  • Create customer-facing presentations, product collateral, and value propositions to drive adoption.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, standards activities, and industry forums.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to meet product milestones throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

Minimum technical and professional requirements for initial consideration and preferred skills for distinguishing candidates.

Must-have:

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in datacenters, servers, or Ethernet networking.
  • 10+ years of product management experience or technical management experience.
  • 5+ years working with networking protocols and data center system architectures.
  • 5+ years developing product business value propositions, pricing, or forecasting.
  • Strong strategic thinking, customer focus, data-driven decision-making, collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with Cloud, Telco and Enterprise data center deployments focused on networking solutions.
  • Experience with ASIC/SoC development cycles and vendor management.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and supply chain operations for silicon products.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (as listed in the posting). Preferred: Master's degree (MBA) or an advanced engineering degree.
