Senior Engineer, Test Engineering

Role Summary

Develop and sustain wafer sort ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) hardware schematics and test programs to support internal test chips and production goals. Work within the Test Engineering team to optimize test equipment, processes, and test capability for semiconductor wafer fabrication.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires around 5 years of relevant experience in test engineering.

Responsibilities

Key duties include developing, implementing, and maintaining test equipment and procedures to ensure product quality and yield.

• Develop and implement ATE test hardware schematics and test programs for wafer sort.
• Optimize and sustain test equipment and process capability to meet operations goals.
• Design, install and maintain testing equipment; perform product testing and analysis.
• Develop methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
• Analyze test reports and defective-product data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues and support supplier quality improvement programs.
• Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements in all activities.
• Work cross-functionally on related projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills.

• Minimum ~5 years of test engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor wafer fabrication.
• Experience developing or debugging ATE test programs and hardware (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, presentation and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Education Requirements

Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (stated as "Masters/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field" in the source).
