Senior Engineer, Test Engineering
Role Summary
Member of the Product & Test Engineering team supporting mixed-signal audio edge processors and battery-management power products. Lead test development from DFT and pre-silicon activities through silicon bring-up, characterization, correlation and release to high-volume production, working with design, product, reliability and offshore test houses.
Experience Level
Senior β 5β7 years of hands-on experience in mixed-signal or digital test.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Design probe and test solutions with highly parallel multi-site capability on mixed-signal/Digital ATE platforms (e.g., UltraFLEX, NI).
- Develop ATE software and test programs to product specifications.
- Define and support DFT/BIST with Design early in new product development to improve testability and reduce failures.
- Execute test development phases: silicon functionality, characterization, yield analysis and correlation.
- Release and hand off multi-site test programs to offshore production test houses and support production debug.
- Collaborate with reliability, design, bench evaluation and product development teams during qualification and characterization.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 5β7 years' practical experience in mixed-signal or digital test engineering.
- Experience with ATE software development and working knowledge of Teradyne Flex and/or 93K systems.
- Analytical and statistical skills; working knowledge of Perl and/or C++.
- Experience with ATE multi-site digital hardware design/layout and resolving hardware limitations.
- Experience releasing test programs to offshore production test houses.
- Familiarity with bench lab equipment: oscilloscopes, LCR/VI meters, signal generators and analyzers.
- Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills; proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with UltraFLEX or NI ATE platforms.
- Prior work on audio edge processors or battery-management power products.
- Hands-on experience in DFT/BIST leadership.
Education Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (level not specified).
