Senior Engineer, TDT Device PI
Role Summary
Drive DRAM device development for CELL technologies from concept through high-volume manufacturing, focusing on model delivery, performance optimization, reliability improvement, and technology transfer. Work within the TDT Device team and collaborate with global Technology Development, Modeling, Design, Process Integration, and Manufacturing groups.

Responsibilities
Lead device-focused projects and apply data-driven methods to accelerate development and manufacturing readiness.
- Lead DRAM CELL device development projects to meet future roadmap requirements.
- Plan and execute electrical characterization, margin assessment, performance optimization, and reliability improvement activities.
- Identify device performance gaps and develop improvement strategies using device physics, DOE, and statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with Device, TCAD, Modeling, Design, Process Integration, and Manufacturing teams across global sites.
- Support technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by establishing device learning and monitoring methodologies.
- Develop automated data-analysis workflows, dashboards, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate root-cause analysis and decision-making.
- Apply machine learning and predictive analytics to identify process-device correlations and improve development efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement through digital transformation, data automation, and AI-enabled engineering solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional capabilities; preferred items listed below.
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process integration, and electrical characterization.
- Practical experience with statistical analysis and DOE; proficiency with tools such as Python, JMP, MATLAB, or equivalent.
- Experience in DRAM, memory devices, CMOS technologies, or advanced semiconductor development.
- Proven ability to lead technically complex, cross-functional projects and communicate effectively in a global environment.
- Experience with automation, data engineering, or developing automated analysis and workflow solutions.
- Preferred: experience with TCAD tools (Sentaurus, Silvaco, or equivalent).
- Preferred: experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, machine learning, data mining, or predictive analytics.
- Preferred: Mandarin fluency.
Education Requirements
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or a related field.
