Senior Engineer, Product Software
Role Summary
Work on Tenstorrent's Product Software team to connect machine-learning models to Tenstorrent custom silicon, optimize performance and accuracy across the stack, and deliver production-ready solutions for customers.
This is a hybrid role based in Belgrade, Serbia. The team focuses on performance tuning, cross-layer debugging, and making complex systems usable and reliable in production.
Experience Level
Senior level (posting title "Sr."). Candidates at other experience levels may be assessed during interviews and offers will align to the assessed level.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on end-to-end performance and correctness for ML workloads on Tenstorrent hardware.
- Port and optimize ML models to the Tenstorrent software stack to meet performance and accuracy targets.
- Profile, tune, and debug across software layers: model, kernel, runtime, and system software.
- Improve and maintain components such as tt-metal, tt-nn, tt-forge, and tt-llk.
- Validate numerical accuracy and prevent regressions across kernels and models.
- Collaborate with hardware, compiler, and platform teams to resolve system-level bottlenecks.
- Deliver production-ready, well-tested solutions and documentation for customers.

- Must have: Experience optimizing ML workloads on parallel many-core processors or scalable multi-chip systems.
- Must have: Proficiency in Python and C++, or demonstrated ability and intent to learn both quickly.
- Must have: Experience debugging and improving low-level ML stack components and performing performance tuning across the stack.
- Must have: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Nice to have: Prior experience with Tenstorrent components (tt-metal, tt-nn, tt-forge, tt-llk) or similar ML runtimes and toolchains.
- Nice to have: Experience with RISC-V architectures, kernel optimization, or production ML deployment.
