Senior Engineer, Product Engineering

Role Summary

Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp for power-management ICs on the Empower team. Work cross‑functionally with design, test, operations, fabs, and OSAT partners to ensure product quality, yield, and manufacturing readiness.

Experience Level

Senior — 5–8+ years of semiconductor NPI, product engineering, data engineering, or manufacturing operations experience.

Responsibilities

Lead product data management, analysis, and program support across NPI through volume production.

• Manage product data and readiness from NPI through high‑volume manufacturing.
• Analyze test, yield, reliability, and manufacturing data to drive quality and yield improvements.
• Support qualification, ramp, and sustaining activities with fabs and OSAT partners.
• Collaborate with design, test, operations, and manufacturing teams to resolve data‑driven issues.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision making and change control.
• Support program management: milestone planning, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Maintain product documentation such as release notes and qualification reports.
• Identify production inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements to throughput and cycle time.
• Monitor WIP and cycle time and provide feedback for process optimization.

Must-have:

• 5–8+ years of experience in semiconductor NPI, product engineering, data engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience analyzing electrical test, yield, reliability, and manufacturing data.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (Python, SQL, JMP, Excel, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience working with fabs, OSATs, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of IC manufacturing flows, qualification, and production ramp processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement data‑driven solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience creating dashboards and analytics for operational decision support.
• Background in power‑management ICs or integrated voltage-regulator solutions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
