Senior Engineer, Process Integration, NAND NTI
Role Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and implementing process solutions to improve next-generation 3D NAND product yield, quality, cost, and performance within required timelines at Micron's Singapore R&D. The role works with R&D, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing to transfer technology and support ramp-up and qualification.
Experience Level
Senior - minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in Process Integration and Yield Enhancement.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include developing integration solutions, driving manufacturability, and coordinating across functions to deploy technology into manufacturing.
- Identify and quantify module deficiencies and technology gaps; lead cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Improve process flows and develop innovative integration solutions to meet product and manufacturability requirements.
- Develop or redefine CSPEC criteria to ensure optimal product performance and manufacturing capability.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites to secure funding for experiments and conversions and communicate decisions to R&D, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing partners.
- Lead development projects to evaluate and implement new integration schemes and establish proof-of-concept for future nodes.
- Assist in transferring new technology from R&D to manufacturing and support documentation, training, ramp-up, and qualification efforts.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, while complying with standards and legal requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled and process improvements within scope of work.
Requirements

Must-have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the semiconductor industry in Process Integration and Yield Enhancement.
- Adept at data analysis, problem solving, and process integration optimization.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a demanding and dynamic environment, and committed to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel for extended periods to the United States for collaborative R&D work.
- Ability to develop a holistic end-to-end understanding of PI modules and related structural and electrical failure mechanisms.
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency with scripting/programming/BI/analytics tools such as Python, SolidWorks, Tableau, Power BI.
- In-depth knowledge and direct experience with non-volatile memories (NAND), NAND process flow, and common yield & reliability issues.
- Exposure to R&D and technology transfer to manufacturing.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (BS/MS/PhD in listed fields). No certifications were specified.
