Senior Engineer, Node Development PE

Role Summary

Responsible for introducing new DRAM nodes into high-volume production at the ID1 fab. The role owns yield ramp, production readiness, cost efficiency, and quality improvements while connecting development work to manufacturing.

Works cross-functionally with Technology Development, Design, Quality, Test, and Manufacturing to resolve yield and performance issues and ensure successful technology transfer at scale.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include driving node startup, analyzing yield and failures, and coordinating cross-functional transfers to production.

  • Lead new node startup, qualification, yield ramp, and production readiness.
  • Guide development teams on process integration using technical expertise.
  • Analyze yield data and electrical failures to identify root causes and drive improvements.
  • Partner with Design, Technology Development, Quality, and Test teams to resolve yield and performance issues.
  • Use statistical tools and laboratory analysis to optimize processes and improve product performance.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with DRAM architecture, operation, testing, and process integration.
  • Understanding of CMOS fundamentals and device/performance characteristics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including use of statistical methods.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of yield analysis, failure analysis, and product characterization techniques.
  • Experience with CAD tools, simulations, and statistical analysis methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to present technical findings and influence teams.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI tools (preferred).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (explicitly listed as a minimum requirement).
