Senior Engineer I - Verification
Role Summary
Member of the WIPD Group in Chennai responsible for IP and subsystem pre-silicon verification of wireless devices and protocols. Deliver verification plans, develop SystemVerilog/UVM test environments, measure and analyze coverage, and work with design teams to close issues.
No travel required.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 5–10 years of IP, subsystem, or SoC verification experience as indicated in the posting.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and execute IP- and WSS-level verification for wireless protocols.
- Create verification plans from IP and product specifications and map tests to the plan.
- Develop UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments and testbenches.
- Generate and analyze functional and code coverage; correlate coverage with verification goals.
- Perform RTL- and gate-level simulations; apply assertions and coverage metrics.
- Collaborate with analog and digital design teams to debug and resolve issues.
- Use AI/ML tools and prompts to increase verification productivity, assist code generation, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 5–10 years of IP, subsystem, or SoC verification experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C for verification tasks.
- Extensive experience in IP- and subsystem-level verification flows and techniques.
- Experience with digital simulation environments such as NC-SIM, including coverage and assertions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional, international teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
