Senior Engineer I - Product
Role Summary
Own the full lifecycle of advanced analog and mixed-signal products from concept through high-volume manufacturing. Serve as the central technical owner coordinating Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and business teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable products.
Experience Level
Senior-level. 5β7.5 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or a closely related technical role.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Support product quality, reliability, and manufacturing readiness activities for new and sustaining products.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Analyze yields, reliability data, failure analysis, and customer returns to identify root causes and mitigation actions.
- Drive sustaining actions: yield improvement, cost reduction, and customer issue resolution.
- Validate and characterize products via testing, debug, and data analysis; correlate bench and production results.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, resources, and technical risks across engineering and operations.
- Communicate technical results, risks, and recommendations to engineering teams and leadership.
- Improve processes and NPI practices by identifying gaps, enhancing documentation, and sharing lessons learned.

Must-have:
- 5β7.5 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or a closely related role.
- Practical knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, or semiconductor product fundamentals and the ability to apply engineering judgment across the product lifecycle.
- Proven ability to lead technical work, prioritize, and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret test and yield data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, product debug, test data analysis, validation, characterization, or manufacturing support.
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets, design specifications, test plans, qualification reports, and customer requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-have / Preferred:
- Familiarity with amplifiers, data converters, power-management devices, sensors, interface products, or automotive/industrial ICs.
- Understanding of ATE testing, characterization, bench-to-production correlation, yield analysis, and test optimization.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, reliability, qualification, failure analysis, wafer fabrication, assembly, and product-change management.
- Experience with structured problem-solving and quality methods (8D, FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, PPAP).
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, JMP, Python, MATLAB, Jira, Confluence, LabVIEW, or PCB-layout tools.
- Experience leading project planning, risk management, and cross-functional execution.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience is welcome; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
